what happened today :l

-- today --

woke up with the call from Fred-- who supposed to be doing my case about bond

anyway it was a funny conversation between my hubby and him--

anyway nothing that you need to know so i dont have to tell you :)

then i have to go pick up my apron and tie at Olive Garden

btw-- i know how to do tie now --woohoo!!

btw before that i went to kohls to check on my duffle bag --well i can't find any that i like so i walked to super target

anyway i saw one teenager kid who drives my fav car-- anyway he walked out from best buy which is next door from kohls

he walked to his car-drove to park in front of kohls

and walk to kohls

all i can think is-- WTF!

anyway i found my duffle bad from skull candy at target and i love it--

it is 24 inches so a little too big for me to carry around,but i love the face that they have shoes separated zip and also the  part that i can listen to my music next to me

due to my little small shoulder so everytime i carry it, it slide down-- damnnit!!!

well then i went to OG and done my little picked up stuffs and talked a little bit to my GM and also the safty mgr- what is his name? damn! i forgot

oh well

then i went to

then i went to gym-- i could run 2 miles for 3 days stright now-- tomorrow, i will try to do 3 miles run

found really awesome marathon/running website on juice

and i should be able to do some of them or all of them

came home, set up my work info

a little bit upset!

this morning -- i thought it will be nice to say  "merry Christmas" to my old high school friends

i know that it had been over 10 years that i haven't talk to them and yes! i know that i didn't even get chance to have alumni party with them in the last past few years

so it should be okay because im somewhere else not in thailand

anyway this is not the point

so after i said Merry Christmas to them

i  have my buddy sent me wishing back which is so nice of her :)

theni had a guy who i know that i didn't really talk with him much --

who is always on the high school page and always be the main part in the page

he started with word like

 What's up with Christmas and Thai people?

first orientation

 Okay well--

today i went to my first ever job (that i am really working) orientation

it was awesome!!!

i mean i felt great!

the gals that i sat with are pretty nice --

im happy ;)

im more thrilled when almost the end of the orientation, Dan, GM

told everyone about how he got started in his career

then he mentioned something about he might have to hire the new training manager

this coming seminar week which will hold in january 4th and there will be a bunch of trainee managers or another specific words that he used come from all over aprea in midwest and i am really hope that i could shine myself, bring me my A game and make them - i mean all of them impressed with me

so i might become a trainee mgr in such a short time 6 weeks

hey-- i am  planning to work with OG for a year anyway so i do really hope that with my college degree , i could get promote quick and plus my abilities that i have for over 6-7 years-- i could used it to help the company grown- be better and have the great wonderful team members!!

i hope that i don't put myself goal too high- but it is way better than planning to be server for a year anyway!!!

Things that iactually did this year (2010 review)

the first 4 earlier months was plained-- pretty much plained!

i didn't get chance from iowa homeless youth center because i don't have enough paper that they want even they told me that they will

it was pretty upset me,but thanks to my lovely husband- he supported me to do something else more--so - im just enjoy spending time with my hubby --

went to bed -midnight

woke up 10 am -no rush!

then out for lunch or shopping

he let me used his card to borrow booksfrom library and yes-- i read books like crazy

i was at my 145 lbs

i had my sewing class in winter,but not really doing anything with it much

can't even run more than 3 minutes on treadmill

then in May, my sis took me to sign up for fitness

so i started to exercise and im hook

-

then i had habitat for humanity that gave me opportunity to do more volunteer and im in love with it

i seek out for more volunteer and started to go to gym -every day

except sunday because i still have to work at buffet

then angel, my lovely dog pregnant with -- we still have no idea

gave birth on auguest 7th with 7 puppies...

julie went to her mom's house for 2 months during summer- so while she was away, i was doing whatever, i want to do

i met couple new friends

then i started to do more volunteering at least 3 days a week or more

mostly with building houses, helping with homeless and marathon then i had a wonderful idea about running 5 k or marathon next year

now i can run 3 miles without stop and also run about 45 minutes without panting myself to death

my weight down to 123 lbs

still have no hips,but who care

i got everything now

my PR card

my DL

my working permit and yes- i already got a job or jobs

i can donate blood which i was a little bit disappointed in myself for my blood clog

i was home more to teach my stepdaughter to do math-don't know is she getting better,but she can do multiple and division (my way)

the most important, credit card with my face on it -- haha

im still writing blog even im not writing it all the time

write my mom letter more often-- at least one a month

all of this just happened maybe in october-- well i met my husband's mom for first time :)

in september, i still got nothing in my life that ensure my life here then november boom!

i got everything -just like that!

so today i got the really cute boots ( don't tell my hubby!)

working shirts that actually fit me -just right!

found tons of volunteer opportunity that some os involve police academy --woohoo!!

finally know what behind my husband's nickname

finally happy with myself

and also will be able to give money to my mom again ;)

yes! my life has some goal in life to do and yes-- i got my life has a meaning!

i love everything today!!

im happy

just hope it isn't just over today!

กล้วยตากมาทำเป็นกล้วยแขก

ใส่มะพร้าวทึนทึกขูด กับงาลงในเนื้อแป้ง

กล้วยน้ำว้า แม่ค้าบอกอย่าให้สุกมาก ใช้แบบห่ามๆ เนื้อจะไม่เละ ไม่อมน้ำมัน
เคยแอบถามแม่ค้าที่ทำอร่อยและขายดี  เขาบอกว่าใช้ แป้งข้าวจ้าว กระทิข้นๆ เนื้อมะพร้าวขูดขาว น้ำปูนใส งา เกลือ ที่สำคัญให้ใช้น้ำมันใหม่ๆทอด  ลงครั้งแรกให้น้ำมันเดือดๆ พอเริ่มสีเหลือง ให้หรี่ไฟ แต่ร้านที่ขายดีมากๆ เขาใช้กะทะสองใบ กะทะแรก น้ำมันเดือดๆ กะทะสองน้ำมันพอร้อน พอทอดกะทะแรก จนเริ่มออกสีเหลือง ย้้ายมากะทะสอง จนเหลืองกรอบ แล้วตักขึ้น

My Favorite Thai dessert! ขนมตาล-ขนมกล้วย

ขนมไทยที่อยู่คู่กับคนไทยมาช้านาน เป็นสิ่งหนึ่งที่บ่งบอกว่าคนไทยมีลักษณะนิสัยอย่างไร ขนมไทยแต่ละชนิดล้วนมีเสน่ห์ แม้มีรูปลักษณ์ มีรสชาติ ที่แตกต่างกันไป แต่ก็ล้วนแฝงไว้ด้วยความละเมียดละไม ซึ่งวันนี้ “ช่องทางทำกิน” ก็มีข้อมูลขนมไทย “ขนมตาล” และ “ขนมกล้วย” มานำเสนอให้ลองพิจารณา.....

เจ้าของสูตร “ขนมตาล-ขนมกล้วย” ที่จะนำเสนอวันนี้ คือ ป้านุ่ม-บุญมี นุ่มทอง อายุ 60 ปี เจ้าของร้านขนมไทยสูตรต้นตำรับที่หน้าวัดโบสถ์ จ.นนทบุรี ป้านุ่มเล่าให้ฟังถึงขนมตาลที่ลูกค้าติดอกติดใจว่า สืบทอดมารุ่นต่อรุ่น ใช้เนื้อตาลล้วน ๆ ผสมแป้งเล็กน้อย เนื้อขนมที่ออกมาจึงนิ่มอร่อย หอมหวานเนื้อตาลแท้ ๆ ซึ่งเดิมป้านุ่มทำขนมไทยขายหลายชนิด แต่ภายหลังเพื่อความสะดวก และไม่ให้เกิดความยุ่งยากเวลาคนสั่งขนม จึงลดการทำขนมอื่น ๆ ที่มีขั้นตอนมาก ลดการทำขนมเหลือแค่สองอย่าง คือขนมตาล-ขนมกล้วย

“ทำขนมไทยขายเลี้ยงครอบครัวมานานกว่า 40 ปีแล้ว ไม่ได้ประชาสัมพันธ์อะไรเลย อาศัยการบอกต่อของลูกค้า สิ่งที่เราคิดว่าเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้ลูกค้าซื้อขนมของเราจำนวนมาก คือรสชาติที่กลมกล่อม ใช้วัตถุดิบที่มีคุณภาพทั้งหมด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นลูกตาลและมะพร้าวที่สั่งตรงจาก จ.เพชรบุรี รสชาติความอร่อยที่แตกต่างไปจากเจ้าอื่น โดยขนมของป้าสามารถเก็บได้ 24 ชั่วโมง ไม่มีการใส่สารกันบูด และใช้สีธรรมชาติล้วน ๆ” ป้านุ่มกล่าว

การทำอาชีพขายขนมดังกล่าวนี้ อุปกรณ์หลัก ๆ ที่ต้องใช้ก็มี...เตาสำหรับนึ่งขนม, ลังถึงขนาดใหญ่, กะละมังสเตนเลส, ผ้าขาวบาง, กระชอน, ทัพพี, ถ้วยอะลูมิเนียม, ถ้วยตะไล หรือกระทงใบตองก็ได้

ส่วนผสมการทำ “ขนมตาล” ตามสูตรนี้ก็มี... เนื้อลูกตาลยีเรียบร้อยแล้ว, แป้งข้าวเจ้า, น้ำตาลทราย, น้ำกะทิสด, มะพร้าวอ่อนขูดเป็นเส้น (ใส่มากก็อร่อยมาก) และเกลือป่น

ขั้นตอนการทำ ขนมตาลกะทิสด เริ่มจากนำน้ำกะทิมาผสมกับน้ำตาลทราย ทำการคนให้ละลายเข้ากัน แล้วตั้งพักไว้ ผสมแป้งข้าวเจ้ากับเนื้อตาล ใช้มือเคล้าให้ส่วนผสมเข้ากัน ค่อย ๆ ใส่น้ำกะทิที่ผสมน้ำตาลลงไปทีละน้อย นวดจนแป้งนุ่มมือและเนียนเข้ากันดี จึงเติมกะทิส่วนที่เหลือทั้งหมดตามลงไป คนให้ส่วนผสมให้เข้ากันดี จากนั้นก็นำแป้งที่นวดผสมเสร็จเทใส่ภาชนะที่มีฝาปิด ก่อนจะนำตั้งพักไว้ในที่มีแดดส่อง หรือที่อุ่น ๆ ประมาณ 5-6 ชั่วโมง รอให้แป้งขึ้นตัว (ขนมตาลแบบโบราณต้องใจเย็น ๆ ต้องรอจนแป้งขึ้นจนเป็นฟองปุด ๆ ขนมตาลสมัยใหม่ ย่นย่อเวลาหมักแป้งด้วยการใส่ผงฟูบ้าง ยีสต์บ้าง)

ระหว่างรอ นำมะพร้าวอ่อนที่ขูดเตรียมไว้ไปนึ่งสักครู่ (เพื่อไม่ให้เสียง่าย) ยกลงตั้งไว้ให้เย็นแล้วโรยด้วยเกลือป่นเล็กน้อยพอมีรสชาติ นำถ้วยอะลูมิเนียมหรือถ้วยตะไลเรียงในลังถึง เมื่อส่วนผสมแป้งได้ที่ดีแล้ว ใช้ทัพพีคนแป้งเบา ๆ ตักหยอดใส่ถ้วยเกือบเต็ม ก่อนจะยกวางบนลังถึงนึ่งด้วยไฟแรงประมาณ 15 นาที หน้าตาขนมตาลที่นึ่งสุกดีแล้วจะขึ้นฟูจนหน้าแตก ยกลงตั้งไว้ให้เย็น แคะออกจากถ้วยวางในภาชนะ เป็นอันเสร็จ

ต่อไปเป็นขั้นตอนการทำ “ขนมกล้วย” เป็นรูปแบบ ขนมกล้วยนึ่งมะพร้าวอ่อน ส่วนผสมก็มี... แป้งข้าวเจ้า, แป้งมัน, น้ำตาลทราย, มะพร้าวอ่อนขูดหรือหั่นเป็นชิ้นเล็ก ๆ, เกลือป่น, น้ำกะทิ, เผือก, กล้วยสุกงอม และน้ำตาลปี๊บ

วิธีทำ เริ่มจากปอกกล้วยแล้วบดให้ละเอียดด้วยครกหรือเครื่องบดก็ได้ ส่วนเผือกปอกเปลือกแล้วใช้ที่ขูดมะละกอดิบขูดให้เป็นเส้น นำกล้วยและเผือกมาเคล้าให้เข้ากัน ใส่น้ำตาลปี๊บ คลุกให้น้ำตาลละลาย ใส่แป้งมันและแป้งข้าวเจ้าลงไป เคล้าให้เข้ากัน ใส่น้ำกะทิไปทีละน้อย อย่าใส่มาก ค่อย ๆ ใส่แล้วคลุกเคล้าไป อย่าให้เหลว ให้ข้นไว้ก่อน ใส่เกลือ น้ำตาลทราย และมะพร้าวอ่อนขูดที่เตรียมไว้ลงไป เคล้าให้น้ำตาลและเกลือละลายเข้ากันทั้งหมด หากข้นมากไปก็ใส่น้ำกะทิเพิ่มลงไปอีกเล็กน้อย ชิมดูให้มีรสหวานเค็มมัน กลมกล่อม

ตักใส่ภาชนะที่จะนำไปนึ่ง อาจจะใช้ถ้วยหรือกระทงใบตองก็ได้ นึ่งด้วยไฟแรงประมาณ 15-20 นาที
สุกแล้วก็ยกลงตั้งไว้ให้เย็น แคะใส่ภาชนะที่เตรียมไว้ เท่านี้ก็พร้อมขาย

ป้านุ่มบอกว่า ความอร่อยของขนมกล้วยนึ่งอยู่ที่ความนุ่มนวลของเนื้อขนม และความหวานหอมของกล้วย อีกทั้งรสชาติจะต้องกลมกล่อม ไม่เค็มหรือหวานไป ถ้า 3 อย่างนี้โอเค ความอร่อยก็ไม่หนีไปไหน

okay here is a thing

i have problem with getting kid who  are under 15 years old cell phone

because i think it is not really important for them to have it

i mean at all

and yes- if im going to get cell phone --  i will just go with the one with call and text-- no need to go with the come with everything

internet access or app or whatever

it is not necessary - not at all

if they want it, they can get it themselves when they are finished high school and by themselves - if you want that kind of stuffs-- pay it for yourself ...

im still not happy witt my hubby got ipod for her on her birthday

hey - it isnt a necessary thing to have

what is her necessary things is making friends, study and yes- i want  her to be good at sports and maybe some entertainment thing like play music instrument or dance

that is what girl in age 10 to 15 need

make up maybe when she is 14 - but still just lipgross, blush and maybe i mean maybe mascara - what else kids need in age of 14..

today first thing i saw on her face is a look of 17 years old because she put her red lipgross on and man! it doesn't compliment her innocent face that she has at all..

okay here is the deal

each time she has to keep up all "A" to get all these...

curfew is 6 pm if she is going out with friends and bed time will be 9 pm and have shores to do... time management is really important!

7th grade = TV in her room 13 years old

8th grade = make up ,but just lipstick, brush and mascara  so she is 14 years old

bed time is 10 pm. and curfew is 8 pm if she is going out with friends or friends come over

9th grade = cell phone - the one with talk and text still have curfew to use until bed time which will be 10 pm so she is 15 years old by then

10th grade = prom but have to be home by 11 pm no excuses and yes i want to see the guy's parents first - she is 16 years old

gotta make effort for go to bed at 11 pm and curfew still 8 pm

11th grade = go to bed at 11 pm ,but curfew still have to be at 8 pm to be home and she is 17 years old

12th grade = get a suv .. still have to pass her driver license class first and she has to go to college in exchange to drive the car somewhere else.

i will do the same if i have my own kids and also with ashley ...

1.มะพร้าว น้ำตาลทราย น้ำ ใส่กระทะตั้งไฟ กวนไปเรื่อยๆจนเหนียวเหมือนยางมะตูม
2.ใส่ข้าวตอกบดหยาบกวนให้เข้ากัน ยกลงจากเตา
3.ปั้นเป็นก้อนกลมๆคลุกข้าวตอกบดละเอียด
4.ถ้าอยากให้หอมก็อบควันเทียน

well well well...

okay i won't say anything that will make me feel like im really cocky or anything

well maybe the word 'cocky' might not be the right word,but well it is something kinda like that though

so yesterday i had interview with PMRC ,right and they told me that they will call me if they accepted to get a job

but because i told them that i will start another job at OG just the same time that they will want to train me as well

well i know that i left from my job interview at PMRC felt bad to myself and knowingly that i won't get a job due to a lot of my can't do this, can't do that

okay well yes tonight  at 6.30 pm, Pete -- training manager called me and said- they will take me to work with them

yeah!!!

well i asked them that can i train with them next month

he said yes but depends on if they still need dealer ,but he will call  me

that is a good news!

so next month- in january will be really tough month

from working and also training but it will be worth

okay here let me write something that i thnk i got lucky today---

i got one really really cute boot from Charlotterusse for $20 from $42

and hey actually i want to get 2 boots and another one is combat boots,but because it isn't so touching me like the one i chose and also i planned not to spend too much money on boots

im glad i could find reason to not get 2 boots

also i got the new black pants and also one real cute ring

so for that i spent $40 and im really greatful for myself

then this morning when i went to gym

i found out that last night was the only night that they reduced all the boots to $20 so yes!! im so lucky!!

okay my face now is like the huge round plate,but i don't care!!

then walked into the southside gym

yes- i got to talk to that guy- the one that really cute from faraway--

oh no! i can't believe i just said that

oh well that isn't a point so my point is he told me that my gym membership is expired - yes! that  is my lucky news

also i will close my us bank soon and jd's credit card is also expired soon so they  couldn't bill me anymore

hahahahaha!!

too bad ,but hey i think i will find another fitness that i might get discount from my two jobs  for it

have to check and see about that again!

done with put my name for water and electric at my sis's house

still have to wait for mediacom,but that isn't up to me anymore

Prairie Meadow interview

Today i have job interview at PMRC --

as table game dealer

it was nice and i wish that they would considering me to work there as full-time dealer

the problem that i have right now is

the training time that i have to do at olive garden and PMRC are the same date so i have to choose which one i will keep and yes- i keep to work at olive garden,but i told them that i will reapply it again because after i talked with them seem like they have training every month and if i get my schedule set up at olive garden i will be just find

so far this year 2011, i will try to work my ass off and then i will go for army in year 2012

yes- that is my plan,but i know thing can change-- still want to go visit my mom in thailand and have to finished everything that i have to do

house, car and everything

today i finally got my oxford shirt after spent 3 days straight looking for it--

found it at walmart and yes- it is still too big for me

not cool at all...

well one thing that i like is JD is trying so hard to help me find it

we went to kmart

then gordmans (funny that i will say- i will be sick of shopping for awhile)

then we went to goodwill on euclid which there is no oxford shirt

jd called around to sear, jcpenny, maurices everywhere all the uniform stores - im so appreciated in his help

then well im really dizzy- i guess because my size 2 suit which is so wrapping me around and i cant breathe at all..

well we went to jd's favorite mxican restaurant and yes- i had my regular chicken salad with 2 tacos

yum!!!

it was $20 plus $5 tip-

then we went to walmart where jd found me oxford shirt-

then we went back home

i had my job interview at 2.30 pm

arrived there a bit early,but hey it is great thing,right?

well i hope i wont get letter from them

which they said it is a bad sign that they  won't considering me to work there,but i might get it because i already stand on my feet told them  that i chose another job over them

man! i hate my stupid mouth

tomorrow is a wonderful day that i will go donating my blood for the first time since ihave been here

i think it is almost 4 years since and im back to my normal blood donating routine and i will keep that every 3 months--

 Today the lady called from prairie meadow about my resume that i drop probably a month ago

table game dealer- part-time,but i think if i could get pass the interview, i will might just ask for full-time

i just hope that i could work after 9 pm, will be awesome and i don't mind to work 5 days a week-- not a problem-- just fixed my schedule

anyway talked with jd today about my next year plan gonna be-- i will try to work things out with 2 job and after a year- i will go join the army-

i do really want to join the army so i will have to spend my time wisely and fit myself to be healthy and also my mind as well

funny that last night, i just sent my mom letter about no job called and today i got pm called

i just hope it will be my path to working with hotel that pm will have soon

have to get as much as information and experiences as much as i could

time will not be so much problem if i could work everything out

og- 10 am to 4 pm ot 7 pm

pm 9 or 10 pm to 6-7 am

wow! seem i have the heck of the deal :)

will be hard,but i think i could pull it off

im so believe in myself :)

Today i found out that i could donate blood -- that is one of the great news!!!

Ways to avoid Alzheimer's

Alzheimer's seem to me like happen with older people more than younger people,but again it takes time and habit to avoiding it

i found this really nice info from peoplenewspaper magazine

it talks about what habit that will helping reducing chance of having Alzheimer's

but not included people who have siblings or relatives who have Alzheimer's though --

you might have more risk of having it

okay then

• Filling your brain with hobby-- or aother word- trying to do something that will keep your brain working - and seem finding hobbies to do is the easy start
• drink 1 glass of coffee -- her i hope iced coffee is work as well
• floss your teeth-- this is good with your health, your teeth and yes! your brain
• google - or keep having question in mind and find it out
• exercise - way to go!
• drink apple juice - find delicious brand and enjoy it!
• protect your head -- try not to use your head like bumping machine- how about that!
• meditate- soothe yourself, clam yourself and yes you also can think in your inner side
• take vitamin D -- or if you don't want- walk outside try to get the sunshine during 7-9 am in the morning. that is one good source of vitamin D :)

okay this is really easy -- so far i do also everything accept drink juice and coffee -- well if i have to, i will-- you hear that! :)

กล้วยปิ้งน้ำกะทิ

สิ่งที่ต้องเตรียมกล้วยน้ำว้าห่าม 7 ลูก
น้ำตาลมะพร้าว 3 ก้อน
กะทิ 250 มล.
เกลือป่น 1/2 ช้อนชา
เนยสด 1 1/2 ช้อนโต๊ะ


วิธีทำ
- ก่อนอื่นมาทำน้ำราดกล้วยปิ้งกันก่อน โดยนำน้ำตาลมะพร้าวมาหั่นเป็นชิ้นเล็กๆ เพื่อที่จะได้ละลายง่าย
- ละลายน้ำตาลมะพร้าวกับกะทิในหม้อ ยกหม้อขึ้นตั้งไฟ เคี่ยวจนน้ำตาลละลาย ใส่เกลือป่น
- เคี่ยวเรื่อยๆ จนส่วนผสมเหนียว ใส่เนยสดลงไปคนให้เข้ากันรอซักครู่ยกลง
- คราวนี้ก็มาเริ่มปอกเปลือกกล้วยน้ำหว้า นำไปปิ้งบนเตา เราใช้เตาปิ้งไฟฟ้า ใช้เวลาปิ้งประมาณ 10 นาที ถ้าใครชอบเกรียมกว่านี้ก็เพิ่มเวลาได้ค่ะ
- จากนั้นนำกล้วยปิ้งออกมาวางบนเขียง แล้วใช้ท่อนไม้ทับกล้วยปิ้งให้แบน แล้วตัดเป็นชิ้นๆ ราดด้วยน้ำกะทิแล้วยกเสิร์ฟร้อนๆ
